KISAH UNIK : Deret Sandi Ini Belum Terpecahkan Selama 11 Tahun

Solopos.com, MINNESOTA — Seorang nenek-nenek asal Minnesota, Amerika Serikat (AS) mewariskan sebuah deretan huruf sandi sebelum meninggal dunia. Kini setelah 11 tahun berlalu, bukan hanya ahli warisnya, tetapi seluruh dunia dipusingkan lantaran kode sandi yang tertulis di kartu indeks tersebut tidak terpecahkan.

Kebingunan itu dimulai kala cucunya, Janna Holm, menemukan deretan sandi itu saat usianya 11 tahun. Dorothy Holm terkena kanker paru yang sudah menjalar ke otak. Penyakit itu menyebabkan ia tak mampu bicara. Tahun 1996 kondisinya semakin buruk. Pada pekan-pekan terakhir menjelang kematiannya, ia terbiasa menulis sederetan huruf di kartu indeks.

Janna Holm, sebagai cucu kerap memperhatikan aktivitas yang dilakukan Dorothy Holm menjelang meninggal dunia itu. Sebagaimana dilansir Tech Journal, Minggu (2/2/2014), selang 7 tahun setelah ia menemukan kembali kartu indeks tersebut, Janna belum juga menemukan petunjuk dari deretan sandi itu.

Dia sejatinya telah meminta bantuan sepupunya untuk mencari tahu apa makna dari kode-kode tersebut. namun mereka tak bisa juga mengungkap rahasia tulisan Dorothy Holm. Itulah pasalnya, Janna kini memutuskan meminta bantuan orang di seluruh dunia melalui Internet untuk memecahkan misteri sandi neneknya.

Seorang spekulan pengguna Metafilter.com dengan akun harperpitt mencoba mengungkap kisah misteri itu. Ia menduga deretan tulisan itu adalah teks-teks keagamaan. Menurutnya, jika deretan huruf pada kartu indeks itu diterjemahkan maka terbaca teks sebagai berikut:
