BOX OFFICE HOLLYWOOD : Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Geser Furious 8

Box office Hollywood pekan ini menjadi milik Guardian fo the Galaxy Vol.2.

Solopos.com, LOS ANGELES – Berakhir sudah kejayaan The Fate of the Furious di box office Amerika. Setelah tiga minggu memuncaki box office, film ke-8 Fast and Furious itu harus rela digeser oleh Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Chart box office edisi akhir pekan 5-7 Mei menunjukkan jika Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 jauh mengungguli Fate of the Furious. Di pekan pertamanya, film superhero Marvel ini langsung memuncaki box office dengan pendapatan US$145 juta.

Angka itu jauh meninggalkan perolehan pendapatan Fate of the Furious. Memasuki pekan keempat di box office, film yang dibintangi Vin Diesel itu hanya memperoleh pemasukan US$8,5 juta, turun 50% lebih dari pendapatan sebelumnya.

Sementara itu, tiga film menunjukkan tanda positif dengan naik peringkat dibanding pekan sebelumnya. The Boss Baby yang pekan lalu berada di peringkat 4 kini naik ke posisi 3, sementara Beauty and the Beast naik satu peringkat ke ranking 5, dan Gifted dari 9 ke 8.
